When I was editing Mixed Moss, I seem to remember that Wayne Hammond wrote an article on books that had slipped by him when he was preparing the bibliography. I rather think that LITTLE PEOPLE OF THE WOOD was one of them and that it featured bunnies in smoking jackets (which could well be why our Mr Ransome kept quiet about it in later life).
