Am unsure whether I'm on the discussion group at this stage. Have used the Internet for some time but not joining any dg. A comment in the local rag on the ARS being on the WWW certainly made me jump to the computer. Being an ardent fan of Arthur Ransome and owner of all his S&A books how delightful it is to have the opportunity to talking to others of similar experience. I was born in a little village just outside York in 1934. Was given Swallowdale as a present and never looked back. Came to Australia in 1948.
