ISTR Titty remarking (SD?) that Nancy's quite good (one fingered) at Capt. Flint's pirate song. Perhaps that she played it on the piano wasn't explicit, but there aren't too many "household instruments" as it were which can be played one-fingered. Neither the accordion nor the pennywhistle, the only two other instruments I recall being mentioned explicitly, are particularly amenable to such technique.
