Now that summer has finally made it to England (for a few weeks there was some doubt it would happen this year) I've been looking with great pleasure at the Freshwater Biological Association's web cam, that looks across Windermere from the Western ferry landing towards Bowness. It's a high quality camera and the picture is large, for a web cam. The frame rate is high too, and when the wind gets up you can see the leaves lashing themselves into a frenzy. But just now it's all gorgeous colours, lots of ferry landing action and across the shimmering lake, the hills and bushy top trees straight out of an AR illustration.
A real treat.
