I did submit "Chemistry" to Mixed Moss but it was never published (too technical for a literary society readership?) and eventually it found its home on the Literary Pages instead. A lucky circumstance, perhaps, as it is probably far more widely available for the casual reader there. There are a few minor changes I could make, but it seems to hold up quite well.
