I have been haphazardly researching my family history and have just discovered that my great grandmother originated from Kings Lynn. I next tried to find her father;s birth, but as luck would have it there were two children born with the same name in that year - one in Thetford, and one in 'Depwade'. I have been unable to find a Depwade and wondered if any East Anglian contributors could suggest what it might be (this is from a transcription and might therefore be misread!)
Any help would be greatfully received.
