Did AR influence Russian history? Of course he did, just by being there. Of course we'll never know what might have happened if he hadn't but you could imagine any turn of events. Maybe he inspired someone who affected some event that allowed the revolution to play out the way it did, which in turn assisted Marshal Zukov beat back the Germans in WWII that led to the Cold War which was infinitely better than a world led by Nazi Germany...
History is not written only by the actions of those who make it into the text books. We all play a part with every breath we take.
