Hello, TARS-Netters or Tarboard readers,
I have known this board for long time but could not access it.
Now I am happy to be here.

I have talked about Susan with my friends many times
( of course in Japanese).
My friend does not like Susan because of her strong sense of
responsibility.
She says that Susan seems to make herself unhappy.

I have loved and had great respect for Susan for long time
since I was 12 year-old -girl.
I liked to read Captain Flint saying
"There never was an expedition that had a better mate."
I loved Nancy and Titty also. But there was no custom to
enjoy Sailing in Japan when I was a child.
"They might as well be in some different world."So I just
tried to cook using a frying-pan since it was only what
I could do then.
(I also made a ringing bell with wires and battery.)
And for me, cooking seemed not only cooking but a part of
an adventure because of the book.

Now I am 28 and still loving reading AR as you all.
I feel AR treats both Titty and Susan so fairly
in careful and gentle way.
A character like Titty might be loved by many people.
She is sensitive and imaginative. Susan is not.
But I feel Ransome also loved her so deeply.
He makes me to like many types of children and Adults, too.
I think that's why I feel happy to read Ransome.

I am sorry when I could not explain well.
It is so difficult to tell things in not my own language.
