Ah well now, Nancy Blackett! I think her character must be an ideal
personality that AR would have liked to meet (or be himself?).
Resourceful and brimming with confidence, and with a natural authority
that carries all her peers and most of the "grown ups" sometimes against
their better judgements. I suppose charismatic is the word? Perhaps its
not surprising that AR doesn't disclose her inner thoughts or doubts.
