I've never felt Commander Walker's appearance was a flaw in the story,
indeed since reading David Chan's brilliant article in the latest
Mixed Moss it seems like the inevitable climax to the book.
If there is a flaw in WDM it's the fact that poor old Titty doesn't
get much of a look in. I don't remember any mention of her being
prone to headaches in another book.
