Welcome to Tarboard Mikako Yamada. It is good to hear that you found
friends while cruising on Coniston this summer. You realise that ARCJ
was started quite some time before TARS so we are very aware of you
all in Japan. As you are interested in the different characters in
the books perhaps you would be interested in a little book published by
Amazon Publications (their first volume) called Distilled Enthusiasms
by Rodney Dingle. He sent out a list of questions to members of TARS
asking them what they thought of the books and characters. It is a
very intersting study of members opinions. You could probably get a
copy from Ted Alexander and you will find his address in TARS publications.
Congratulatons on writing so boldly in a foreign language. I wonder
whether there are any English TARS members who could do the
same in Japanese!!
