Swallows - The Poem

Whilst sweltering on the Bakerloo Line of the London Tube last night, I noticed a poem on a placard in the series "Poems on the Underground".
It was called "Swallows" by Owen Sheers. A phrase "their annnual regeneration is so flawless to human eyes" might also apply to our rereading of the AR series of 12 books.

P.S. For trainspotters only, it should have been called "Poems on the Tube"
