Surely Dick was the younger brother, on your scale I might put him as 13. As he was short sighted, perhaps he would have been given a medical exemption from conscription and would probably have stayed at university until he graduated in about 1944. Then he might have got a junior scientific war job.

Roger Altounyan joined the RAF I think. That would also fit in well with Roger Walker's attributes.
