100 : Re Branch Status, vote for a Great Leader etc

1. Tars Net [not Virtual Tars] already exists, but as an administrative entity of Tars has been rather out
of the limelight lately. It has Three Admirals, Dave Thewlis, George Lang and Doug Faunt. Peter
Dowden is the Secretary, and Doug Faunt is the Signaller, which means the keeper of the l"Signalling
to Mars" listserv mailing list s2m-l@netcom.com. Signaller formerly edited the email-magazine also
called "Signalling to Mars" which ceased upon formation of the listserv list and the success of the
Tarboard as replacements. At this point, the electronic activities of TARS became rather
self-sustaining, in the sense that people's enthusiasms came together to build up the web pages, Ian's
discussion forums etc; so rightly or wrongly the Admiralty sort of retired for a while.

Tars Net is controlled by its members through the means of Virtual General Meetings. OK, so we have
only had one, so far, and it ws 3 years ago. Tarsnet's incumbent Secretary notes the current interest in
these matters and hereby calls another Virtual General Meeting
