It was a very good event. However the Coniston Bluebird Bitter (this was a CAMRA beer of the year a few years ago)had been withdrawn and there was a poor representation of Lake District bitters. However, in AR terms, East Anglian breweries more than redeemed the day.

A major innovation was that beer could be served in 1/3rd pints (which is a legal measure) this allowed one to sample more whilst remaining on one's feet.

I did meet one person, who had drunk 15 pints on the previous day and had been ill in the night. He blamed it on the crisps he had eaten!
