As all readers of Winter Holiday will know, Nansen's Farthest
North plays a crucial role in helping to create the imaginative
landscape for the children, and (more practically) in showing Dick how
to rig a square sail on his sledge. I've put 10 pictures from FN
on my page, together with a bit of text to whet the appetite of
Ransome-readers who are not also Nansen-readers.
