There is a Romney Marsh Companion recently published by 'Girls Gone By' which deals among other things with the order of the action in the Monica Edwards Romney Marsh books.
Edwards specifically states in the introduction to Strangers to the Marsh (1957) that the book takes place before Hidden in a Dream (1952)
The Companion argues that Storm Ahead (1953) should take place after No Entry (1954) and The Nightbird (1955), and Operation Seabird (1957) after No Going Back (1960)
