In "Dangerous..." there is a section of how to prepare a dead rabbit for cooking, what to do with the skin and the insides, then how to treat the skin for curing. Too bad Jacky did not know about telling the D's about dressing out the skin. One would think that the D's would have remembered WINTER HOLIDAY when they made mittens and caps out of rabbit skins, but in PM, there is no mention of what they did with that rabbit fur. Perhaps we are supposed to believe they just tossed it into the woods. With Dick's Professor image, perhaps he would think that he would at least try to do something with that skin, but it is never mentioned, just ignored. Perhaps after his ordeal with getting rid of the innards he was just as well satisfied to get away from all that, feeling "green" as he was. Besides at that time, they were not needing mittens anyway.

"Dangerous..." is definitely oriented to the reader being in the UK culture. Of course, that expression, "UK", when used around here, has an entirely different meaning, as here, it means "University of Kentucky."
