Here are some more Ransomish photos from the Coniston area, all taken last weekend. They include Holly Howe, Kanchenjunga, High Topps, Wild Cat Island, one of Titty's cormorants and a red deer stag, who probably would be hiding if Ransome and his shotgun were still around.
I've also included two versions of Squashy and his hat, one of whom (the person, not the hat) looks remarkably like the late former Foreign Secretary Robin Cook. Both images are from Czech editions of the 1960s and 1940s.
