I left my tonsils in the infirmary there fifteen years after hostilities ceased, and regularly used to cycle through on my way to sail at Rudyard Lake.
We found a load of ammunition ( 303 etc ) in the shallows by the sailing club and wondered if it was dropped during a homeguard exercise.
I'd be for it :-)
