a cartoon Ransome the original (if long-forgoten)casus belli of an ancient TARS War?

Well, after exhaustive searches through my vast TARS Archive (a shoe box and an old lever-arch), I can find no mention of a strip-cartoon Swallowdale (the mind boggles). In any case, any such proposal would not have been directed at TARS, who own no rights whatsoever in AR's work, but to the Ransome Literary Executors, august personages oft mentioned in these pages, peace & blessings be upon them. Anyone wanting to reproduce AR's work in any form has to apply to the Lit Execs - heavens, even in Chapel-en-le-Frith they know this.
