So, you obviously don't read the Independent (UK), where Miles Kington mused on the comic alphabet in the January 6th/7th editions. Oddly, the Independent's archives are not, as far as I can find, available via their own website. Nonetheless, they do exist, and can be searched via the education section of Virgin Net.
