But 'Nobody ever was angry with Dorothea'(WH) The D's, by understanding her point of view as nobody else ever even tried to do (PM Chapter XIII) would in time have tamed her by meeting her on her own terms. I reckon that by the end they would have been taking her for a sail in Scarab
