I remember Barry Brickell's clay work as being influenced by industrial forms - boilers, machines, etc.. A true Artist not beholden to any "-ism" or established style - the clay work expressing his admiration of mechanical forms! I am assuming, from the website, that he has gone mostly into the tourist trade and the tile manufacturing work where there are more lucrative rewards.
