POI - I did not make that implication. I am not for one moment saying that the silent ones are 'malicious', but that IMHO they are being irritatingly negative. However, I agree that there is an 'existentialist' aspect to this discussion, in that we are discussing people who may not exist, and if they do exist and reveal themselves they cease to be in the discussed category. In other words, by definition, we can never hear from a lurker unless he/she emails an existing Tarboarder with a message to pass on. As my thread of 'logic' is rapidly disappearing up its own backside, I hurriedly pass onto Fiona's favourite 'lurk'. Off the cuff, I'd say the best lurker of the lot is George Owdon (who rather proves my point . . . :-) )
