Back to the IBM case, Peter. No, it was a different type of discussion. Effectively one would say (possibly in response to someone's question) "If you have problem A, I find procedure X fixes it." Someone else might add that they found procedure Y better, and the originator of the query might confirm that my solution worked - or didn't - but we weren't looking for lurkers to join in the applause.
I expect there were hundreds of them out there, but only three broke cover.
