Another option is the Cross-Lakes Shuttle service - a single, integrated, ticket that allows you to travel from Windermere to Bowness by Mt Goat, from Bowness to Ferry House by Windermere Lake Cruises, from Ferry House to Hawkshead by Mt Goat, from Hawkshead to Waterhead Coniston by Stagecoach, then Coniston Water on Coniston Launch.
This is a great 'Travel Experience' traversing some of the best bits of the Southern Lakes.
