This is an undocumented 'feature' of TarBoard which deserves to be better known.
Simple text messages can safely be posted from the tested post page. But if posting
anything fancy (this applies to hyperlinks as well as ASCII codes) you should,

use the browser back button to go back and directly submit from the original page.

If you don't, you won't get what you expect. Links have an annoying habit of 'dropping out'.
