The milk we get from our local dairy is pasteurized, but not homogenized, so it's safe. I have (very happily!) tasted Devonshire Double Clotted Cream in Devon. Quite tasty, but I tend to think of the fat simply gushing into my veins.... I didn't know how it was made. We also can buy a variety of English foods here in the Portland, Oregon area, at an import shop called "Lady Di's". They also serve lunches & teas. In fact, on Monday a friend & I are going there to celebrate our birthdays--mmmm.....tea & scones, fruit cakes, cheese & tomato sandwiches with the crusts cut off. And then we can shop to take some home!
