Well it certainly looks as though the water level at the ferry has gone down a bit- when I looked this afternoon it was no longer lapping over trhe edge of the road on the left. I'm not sure now, after dark, as it's hard to make out the edge.

One oddity is that the ferry doesn't seem to have been running for the past couple of days. That is, I've looked at the webcam a few times and at no time have I seen the ferry, which would normally be most unusual; I'd expect to see it coming across the lake at least. And no cars waiting to cross. Wind too high? Maybe good sailing weather for 'stiff' little Swallow?
