Wayne Hammond’s Bibliography has details of all the printings (numbers, minor text changes etc) of each book, and worthwhile for an aficionado. I have seen a library copy. I expect he got details of minor changes in each printing from Cape’s files, rather than having to compare each of the many reprints with the original!

He mentions that some corrections of dialogue in Holland in WD from a Dutchman were for some reason dropped from later editions.

The number printed for the first edition of each book went from 2000 for SA, SD & PD to 22,750 for PM. For GN there were 44,500 in 3 printings prior to first publication (and 11,000 in the first printing? ).

But I don’t agree with the new Postscript to SD, which is not in my ex-library copy (28th Impression 1968) or in a new Red Fox paperback in a local bookshop, and looks like a very recent (post-AR) emendation! AR did make a mistake over the years of SA & SD, but there are other inconsistencies too! See:
