The Museum of the Broads has just anounced it is moving from Potter Heigham to occupy the old wherry store sheds and buildings at Stalham Staithe and because of this we have been offered various items for permanent display,(see the museum section on my Coot Club website for full details and pictures).

Although previously on loan and awaiting funds to repair her by her previous owner, the Museum has been offered the motor cruiser used as the Margoletta in the Coot Club film. The museum committee would welcome the views of TARboard as to whether it is worth saving and eventually having it as the focal point for a future permanent AR display in the museum.

The Margoletta is in a very poor state of repair and would cost quite a lot of money to restore completely. An alternative suggestion has been put forward that we might cut it half and use it as a walk through exhibit instead of trying to restore it completly.

All views, suggestions and ideas most welcome.

Thanks
