I'm sorry to be starting another thread so soon, but my local paper this morning (the Westmorland Gazette) carried a story about the serious train accident at Grayrigg near Kendal a week ago. In particular it featured local people who had helped at the scene, and it turns out that one of the first there was Kath Packham, who provided the catering at last year's TARS IAGM at Coniston. I know Kath from being chair of our school PTA - she does a lot of voluntary work usually around catering for events. She started doing this commercially following foot and mouth in Cumbria - she and her husband run Little Docker Farm, which is next to the accident site. Apparently she provided 500 cups of tea to rescue workers throughout the night, while her husband and her son Philip, who also worked at the IAGM, helped transporting equipment for fireman across the fields using their quad bikes. So well done Kath!

Rob
