Spectron, although I thought it was called 'spectra' is used in climbing gear although I think most people have decided that the extta strength wasn't worth the extra cost. (The cheaper nylon tapes etc don't break unless they are danaged anyway).
'High water full and change'? Curiosity has got the better of pride and I confess that I don't understand this term.
