The British Embassy in Latvia is preparing an exhibition in the capital Riga on a maritime theme. I know that Ransome's boat Recundra was built in Riga, but cannot get hold of a copy of his book Recundra's First Cruise. Could any one help with information on Arthur Ransomes time in the Baltic States, specifically Latvia, the building and life of Recundra, and any other information which we could use that would be of interest to Latvians and show the UK Latvia link through Arthur Ransome.
