To the afore mentioned crimes we must consider the highly presumptive behavior that had the D's actually planning to spend the night in another's domicile without the owner's not even knowing who the D's were. Not only were they planning to spend the night in the "Fram" (houseboat), but that gang of theirs had practically cleaned out (looted?) the larder and had frankly really trashed the place with all that litter of fur skins and other debris. I must say that when the owner did show up, his remark was rather well controlled, with just a simple, "I'm jiggered!"

There is yet another "crime" which could be called aiding a known criminal to escape justice, when they conspired with a person (Tom) who had admitted to performing vandalism on another's yacht by casting it adrift, while its occupants were sleeping aboard. The D's knew what he had done, they knew that what he had done was illegal, yet they helped him escape.

Oh, the shame of it all! Such examples these hoodlums are!

Such a delight it was to share their adventures and not get in trouble because of it.
