Welcome to Tarboard, Jaroslav, (is that your name?). I presume from your email address that you are Czech. I live in Canada, though I went to school in England and my brothers live there. I have seen some of the places that Arthur Ransome put in his stories. He said they all existed in real life, but people argue about which real place he meant!
Which is your favourite book? Have you read them all in English and Czech? I find that your English is a lot better than my Czech which is non-existent. I look forard to hearing more from you.
