You weren't "redirected" to the new TARS site.
The old URL was: http://www.arthur-ransome.org/ar/
and the new one is http://www.arthur-ransome.org
In the new site, Kath has cleverly used the old URL for the page dealing specifically with AR, so that people who just click on their old "favourite" go straight there, and can then navigate to other areas using the buttons at the top of the page.
This gets over the annoying "You will be redirected to our new website in a few seconds" messages in a most convenient way.
Good thinking by Kath !!
