Peter, I wasn't questioning the fact that it's happening but why it's happening. As you know I live in one of those areas where Red Squirrels were abundant, Thetford Forest. When we came here thirty years ago we would get Red Squirrels in the Pine trees in our garden, and we could encourage them to come down to feed, but no longer. We also used to get Deer in the garden, but that was before the estate was extended. We have plenty of Grey Squirrels but because people want houses to live in no more Deer!
