I must admit that was pretty much my first thought when I heard about this (after checking that the press releases weren't dated April 1st!).
But then again, perhaps we have to reconsider? How about this?

"Captain Flint sat on the rail and played the sailor's hornpipe, while Captain Nancy danced."

Or even:

"What about songs?" said Nancy, throwing the core of her last apple into the fire. They sang their old favourites, "Spanish Ladies" and "Hanging Johnny" and a dozen others..."

So the evidence would seem to suggest that Nancy both sang and danced. Whether in the manner of a stage musical is a different matter, of course.
