Perfectly accurate, Pam. At this time of year (the longest day) it is still broad daylight at 10.00 pm at the latitude of the Lake District and provided there are not too many low dark clouds. I've just had a look at the webcam - the lights of Coniston village are glowing - this is because Coniston is in the evening shadow of Kanchenjunga and the Coniston fells. It is still quite light on top, so notes in tobacco tins could be easily read. I rather wish I was there now!
