There is a dearth of information about the real Susan Altounyan on the Internet.
The only real information on this topic was in John Berry's book "Discovering S&A". There was also a nice obituary in MM, but I cannot remember when or who wrote it. Hopefully others can.
I always saw Susan as a budding headmistress type. Most of the S&A's were slightly in awe of here athough Roger, I suspect, regarded her as a challenge to be circumvented possibly by being cheeky.
