I don't think that the Ransome's Executors would take kindly to the idea
of a film of Peter Duck unless it was true to the story - in fact kept just
as it was written. I don't think the fans would like anything else either!
Correct me if I'm wrong, fans ! As for the actors we do produce them here
in the UK too , you know.
Actually I did not start this debate. It was John some little time back.
He lives in Britain not farfrom me. He is very keen to see a film
of the book but I think he is also for a British cast and no tampering
with the plot. No romance between John & Nancy or any one else.The book
has a charm of its own as it is and there is plenty of excitment, drama,
lovely locations etc All we need is .......!!
