I wonder what the record is for the world's biggest patchwork quilt? I could just imagine a weekend event ("In the needle-wake of Mrs Swainson" or some such) where we try and create a bigger one, with suitable Ransomish designs on it. Perhaps all 360-odd line drawings from the books...

Not quite sure what we'd do with it afterwards, but mighty trees come from little acorns and all that. Sounds like a fun idea, Joy!

PS - Before you ask, needlework is not my strongpoint. But then it can't be everyone's:
