The trouble is Peter is that Wikipedia is self-correcting often by people who don't know what they are talking about or want to deliberately mislead (in the USA this has lead to legal action). My grandson tells me that at his grammar school a favourite activity is to change entries for ‘fun’, but on they other hand they are often directed by staff to use Wikipedia for homework, research etc.

To me books are more reliable as they have been edited and checked by a business that doesn't want to be, or have its authors, sued. Of course books can have mistakes too, but rarely deliberate or malicious ones.
