Well I am not going to start planning to publish AR when he is out of copyright in New Zealand (even though it is in 2018 not 2038!).

Australia used to have 50 years too, but had to go to 70 years with the Oz-US free trade deal.

BTW I think AR is still copyright in the USA too, except for ones published there pre-1923 (or is it up to 1923?) but when to? So the 3x AR books on Soviet Russia are free on Project Gutemberg.

PS: I think it was for Gilbert & Sullivan that some people wanted the copyright extended, so that Americans could not stage ‘updated’or ‘improved’ productions!
