There was a mention of 'an Englishman'responsible for saving historic Polish railways...

Probably a reference to Howard Jones, a Welshman, responsible for persuading Polish Railways to retain the last fleet of steam engines in Europe used to haul regular service trains.

My life is much more boring, I travel around Poland attending meetings and once a year organise the National Seminar on Railway and Industrial Heritage. This year's guests will include Howard Jones.
