Well, to save Jock getting another headache, and for anyone who might be interested, here's the picture I referred to.
Dan (whose photo this is) tells us that the plaque is located in Borrans Park Ambleside.
Thanks for posting all the photos there that you have, Dan. I for one am delighted to be able to see so much Ransome territory because of your good work.
