Indeed. All the pictures I have been able to find on line (and there are a few, quite clear ones) seem to show it as being far too narrow and obstructed to be a decent camp site- except for maybe a one-man thingy.

Of course maybe the trees have grown a lot- bigger and more numerous- than in the '30s. But it still doesn't look like a real possibility.
