There is nothing wrong with the handling of a 2cv. I once did Nottingham to Lowestoft in only just short of even time - almost all single carriageway winding roads.

Oh yes. I once drove one of the early 425cc ones, loaded with two adults and three children, from Pont l'Abbe to Quimper. The Brittany roads don't just wind, they go up and down. Not my children, not my car, it was the most wonderful drive. The owner (also mother of the children) was startled. But she let me drive them back...
